Danganronpa is an 18+ murder mystery game. 

People die. People kill. Kids do genocide. A supermodel puts an eyeball beside her takoyaki. Some nurse cut up a corpse’s womb and implants it on herself. An immoral school experiments on a highschool kid to the point where his personality was completely erased. 2357 normal students commits mass suicide. Some child actress was basically sold to prostitution. A young artist kid created an accordion thing using dead bodies. The world fell into ruins. The world didn’t

actually fall into ruins, but now its obsessed with killing games! 

I don’t understand why some people in the fandom seem to not just dislike but actively hate and protest against dark themes, when Danganronpa is the prime definition of “fucked up”.
